The Morgan Double Notcher quickly notches both ends of a stringer in one easy pass. A top producer in the pallet business. *An economical, Singlehead Notcher in electric or gas models is also available for the smaller operation.

Specifications:

  • Uses 25 HP TEFC electric motor on each notching head 
  • Uses 5 HP TEFC electric motor on hydraulic system
  • Notcher heads are 9" indexable carbide
  • Board capacity is 1-½" - 2" thick X 3-½" - 4" wide & 60" long
  • Distance between heads is adjustable from 6" to 48"
  • Notching depth is up to 2"
  • Uses pneumatic hold down system
  • Has unscrambler to pusher style feed system
  • Feed rate is adjustable from 2000 to 4000 stringers per hour
